Rockalypse is literally the best event in Montreal. It has given us a lot of opportunities such as touring in Italy, playing in front of a big audience, working with an awesome crew, meeting new bands and people from the music industry.

Eligibility

All band members must be at least 18 years old and living in Canada

Bands must be independent and not signed to a label

Bands must be ready to perform across Canada

Bands must have at least one high quality song and video available online

We only accept original bands (no cover bands)

Music genres accepted: rock, punk, metal

Adding band members after registration is not permitted

The band must be available to perform on Sunday May 2, 2021

Prizes are subject to change and cannot be traded, sold or transferred

If selected, bands cannot promote or play other shows in Montreal for a month prior to Rockalypse

Bands must have a proven fan base of at least 30 people (ticket minimum)

Bands understand that the judges panel selects the winners based on specific criteria (not based on ticket sales), and that their decision is final and cannot be contested
-
All bands must use the backline provided and be able to play a 20 minute set of original material
-
Tour travel costs are only covered in part.
Please note: The submission review process could take 3-5 weeks. We only accept applicants from this site. Selected bands will be invited to perform on at Cafe Campus on May 2, 2021 in front of industry judges, and the winners will be selected and announced the same night.
